About Venue and Getting There - Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel, Japan
Osaka has a vibrant and dynamic charm that captivates both first-time and returning visitors, blending modern attractions with deep-rooted traditions. The dazzling lights of Dotonbori, the historic grandeur of Osaka Castle, the bustling streets of Shinsaibashi, and the culinary delights of Kuromon Ichiba Market create unforgettable impressions for travelers. From futuristic architecture to serene temples, Osaka offers a unique mix of energy and culture that appeals to all.
Despite being one of Japan’s major cities, Osaka’s districts each have their own character-ranging from the lively entertainment hubs to peaceful cultural quarters-making the city a fascinating place to explore again and again. Discover Japan’s rich history at Osaka Castle, indulge in street food like takoyaki and okonomiyaki, and enjoy panoramic city views from the Umeda Sky Building. Osaka is an ideal destination for pre- and post-conference day trips, with easy access to nearby cities like Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe.

How to get to Osaka:
If you’re arriving by air, you’ll land at one of Osaka’s major airports: Kansai International Airport (KIX) or Osaka Itami Airport (ITM). Kansai International Airport is located about 50 km southwest of central Osaka on an artificial island in Osaka Bay, while Itami Airport is about 15 km north of the city center and mainly handles domestic flights. Both airports are well connected to the city via train, bus, and taxi services. For convenience and security, luggage delivery and storage services are widely available across stations and airports in Japan.
